Subject: Update to Free Team Limits on Glide
👉 If you’re building apps for clients or managing multiple projects, check out our Agency plan, which lets you manage more than 3 free teams.
We wanted to let you know about an update to how free teams work in Glide.
Previously, accounts could create an unlimited number of free teams. Going forward, each account will be able to have up to 3 free teams. You can still create as many teams as you like, but any additional teams beyond those 3 will need to be on a paid plan.
Why we’re making this change
Sustainability: Offering unlimited free teams created challenges in maintaining the level of quality and support our community deserves.
Focus on value: By limiting free teams, we can keep Glide fast, reliable, and feature-rich while continuing to invest in improvements.
Fairness: Many of our most active customers already support Glide through paid plans. This change helps us align better with how people use Glide at scale.
What this means for you
If you currently have 3 or fewer free teams, nothing changes.
If you have more than 3 free teams, you’ll still be able to use them, but you won’t be able to create any new teams until all but 2 of those free teams are on paid plans.
We’re confident this update will help us provide a better, more sustainable product for everyone. Thank you for being part of Glide and helping us continue to grow!
