While it is possible to use Google Sheets owned by a different email address than the one you use to log in to Glide, we highly recommend using a Google Sheet that is owned by the same email linked to your Glide account. This ensures optimal syncing and reduces the risk of errors.

Using a shared Google Sheet owned by another account can sometimes lead to syncing issues, which may affect the smooth operation of your app.

If you encounter an error code 1035 when trying to connect your Google Sheet, even if it's using the correct email, we suggest the following steps:

  1. Log out from both Glide and Google Sheets.

  2. Clear any saved sessions if prompted.

  3. Re-log in to both services using the same email.

If issues persist, it’s best to check that you have proper access permissions on the shared Google Sheet and ensure it’s not being used simultaneously by multiple users.
