1082 error

Updated over 2 weeks ago

A mismatch between your computer and official time can cause the 1082 error. Specifically, your browser relies on your system clock for secure connections. If your computer's clock has drifted too far from the actual time (even by a small amount), it can interfere with secure authentication or communication with certain services.

To check this, please do a quick Google search for "current time in [your city]" and compare it with the time shown on your computer. If the time on your device is off by more than one minute, we recommend manually correcting it or enabling automatic time synchronization in your system settings. Once your system time is accurate, you can try accessing Glide again and do the upgrade.

Additionally, some browser-specific issues or cached data can cause problems. You may want to try the following:

  • Use a different browser to access Glide

  • Open an incognito or private browsing window and try logging in there

If none of these steps resolve the issue, please get in touch with us with the following details so we can assist you further:

  • Your computer's operating system (e.g., Windows 11, macOS Sonoma)

  • The browser you are using (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and its version

These details will help us diagnose and resolve the issue more effectively.
