How do I get a sales tax exemption for my non-profit Glide account?
If your organization is a non-profit or an educational institution that qualifies for sales tax exemption, it's important to follow the correct process to ensure you are not charged sales tax on your Glide software services.
An admin member of the team's email must have the same domain as the exempt organization. For example, if you are requesting an exemption for an organization called charityusa.org, then there has to be a member in the team with an email of an employee of that organization, and their email should be something like marysmith@charityusa.org.
Glide must collect sales tax on all software services purchases in Maryland, Ohio, and Utah.
To qualify for a sales tax exemption on your Glide account, your organization must submit the appropriate exemption form from your state. Below are links to the state websites where you can find detailed information on obtaining and submitting these forms:

Once you have obtained the necessary exemption form from your state's tax website, please submit it to Glide for processing by going to the team's Billing page and selecting the contact Support link.
Note that state websites change frequently, so if any of the links are not working, we advise you to visit your state sales tax website for the most current information.
